The passage of time is a transformative act, which by the dissolution of the moment through destructive action, removal and covering, ghost images are formed by inertia of the media, thus immortalizing its original event.

To create this scene, I employ additive and subtractive strategies. Dissolution is used in the process of removal through liquid qualities: dripping, wiping, breaking down. The image dissolves back into the base form; the color of the underpainting. I used self portraiture as a model to portray the repetition of a behavior within a specific space.
